K'ómoks First Nation Treaty

“First Nations can build strong, resilient economies and improve our people's quality of life by exercising their treaty rights and Aboriginal title.”

- Shawn Atleo, National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations

The K’ómoks First Nation (KFN) is located in the Comox Valley on the east coast of Vancouver Island. We are the care takers of the "Land of Plenty" since time immemorial, and as a community we continue to protect our lands, water, forests and air as they ensure our Aboriginal Rights and Title.

KFN has 275 members. Approximately 116 members and numerous non-members live on the KFN Indian Reserve #1.  The remaining members reside in various locations across North America.

Our people believe in a strong, prosperous and healthy community and in building a solid future for the generations to come. Through treaty, we hope to accomplish these goals.
